Participate in a week-long Broadway Review Summer Camp where you will be taught music and learn choreography to Broadway and musical theater songs. On the first day participants will audition for solos and small group numbers. Participants will be given assignments by the end of the first day and will be required to learn and memorize music. Everyone who is enrolled will participate in the showcase either in a solo, small group, large group, or combination of any of those.
Emily Sternfeld-Dunn will serve as music director and Josh Larson will stage direct and choreograph. Each day of the camp students will learn music for group numbers, choreography, staging, and coaching for solos and group numbers. Students will wear the provided camp t-shirt for the performance. A showcase will be held in the theater at 1:00 on Friday, July 19.
Attire: Clothes that allow for movement. Formal dance attire/shoes not required but if the participant has jazz shoes, those are preferred.

Emily Sternfeld-Dunn, soprano, is a strong advocate for new music and unconventional performances of art song and opera. Ms. Sternfeld-Dunn regularly gives recitals across the country featuring works of contemporary American composers. Her album SHE, featuring contemporary, classical song cycles, was released in 2018 on Navona Records. Ms. Sternfeld-Dunn is also a passionate music educator. She has been on faculty teaching voice at Washington State University, Wichita State University, and Southwestern College while maintaining a private studio. Her students have performed professionally within both the classical and music theater genres. Regionally her students perform with Music Theater Wichita, Wichita Grand Opera, Wichita Chorale, Crown Uptown, and Roxy’s. Ms. Sternfeld-Dunn’s students are nationally competitive, having won awards through KCATF and NATS. Ms. Sternfeld-Dunn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in music with an emphasis in piano performance from California State University, Hayward where she graduated magna cum laude. She also has a Master of Arts degree in music with emphases in piano and vocal performance from Washington State University, Pullman. Ms. Sternfeld-Dunn holds a Graduate Professional Diploma in vocal performance from The Hartt School. She lives in Wichita, KS with her husband and daughters.
Joshua Larson: Joshua has choreographed for Wichita State University, Friends University, and at various high schools, studios, organizations, and theatres in and around the Wichita area. His choreographic and directing talents have been used at Music Theatre Wichita as the staging director for the Teen Choir (2006-present); director/choreographer of Festival of Broadway (2008-2010, 2014-present) and Curtain Up! (2013-present); and choreographer/adjudicator for the dance portion of MTWichita’s national audition tour (2013-present). Joshua received his undergraduate degree in dance performance from Oklahoma City University and his Master of Liberal Arts (with a Theatre Concentration) from Baker University. He has traveled the country evaluating national dance competitions including Starbound and The Elite Dance Cup. Performing credits include shows at Carnegie Hall, on the Holland America Line, and with the following groups: MTWichita, Stiletto Entertainment, Tuacahn, Silver Tree Productions, Oklahoma City University, Windwood Theatricals, and The American Spirit Dance Company.
