Have a child begging to get on stage and perform? This class, back by popular demand, will let your budding performer shine! This session, the Little Performers will be presenting an adapted version of Cinderella, through the music of opera composer Gioachino Rossini. Students will explore singing, acting, and dancing through this familiar fairy tale, while also being introduced to operatic tunes of the bel canto era and some Italian language basics. A showcase will be held at the end of the session.
Minimum class size: 7 students

Instructor: Carter Tholl
Carter Tholl is experienced in teaching music to students ages 2-78 in both group and individual settings. She taught Musical Theater Class to children ages 4-6 at Vienna’s English Theater. Classes in dance, singing and music were conducted bilingually in German and English. Currently, she teaches voice at Maize High School and Southwestern College in Winfield. Additionally, she can be seen in various Operatic Roles around the country. Originally from Tempe, Arizona, she is a graduate of Arizona State University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in voice performance, and Wichita State University, where she received a Masters of Music in Opera Performance, studying with baritone Alan Held.
